Independent Data Partners was founded by educators and school leaders with more than three decades of experience across teaching, admissions, academics, administration, research, and governance. We have lived with the same fragmented systems, manual reports, and repetitive preparation that school teams navigate every day. IDP exists to connect that context and put it to work, so educators and administrators can spend less time assembling information and more time on the judgment, relationships, and care that make schools valuable.

Time should follow mission
Independent schools promise a unique value proposition through relationships, yet too much of their best people’s time is consumed by administration and repetitive preparation. Giving that time back is more than efficiency. It helps schools align their daily work with what students and families actually value.
The future is more human
Schools will not distinguish themselves by having the most AI. They will distinguish themselves by using technology to deepen relationships, strengthen individualized guidance, and create more time for students, families, and colleagues. The best technology should help a school become more fully itself.
Founder Bios

Andrew has more than 15 years of experience across teaching, school administration, admissions, research, and product development in day, boarding, and international schools. He has taught at Teachers College, Columbia University, and has designed data and AI products that support educational practice and strategic decision-making.
Andrew holds an Ed.D. in Curriculum Studies and an M.A. in School and Nonprofit Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a B.A. from Columbia University. At IDP, he leads product vision, strategy, and the translation of school problems into usable software.

Flynn has more than 20 years of experience as an independent school administrator, including service as an associate head of school, dean of academics, and division director in day and boarding schools. At IDP, he brings school-leadership perspective, relationship development, and a practical understanding of how new ideas gain trust and become useful inside schools.
Flynn is also a co-founder of Coalition 2030, president of the Corson Foundation, and a trustee of Ursinus College. He holds an Ed.M. in School and Nonprofit Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, an M.A. from Middlebury College, and a B.A. from Ursinus College.
